Opportunities
Our members actively participate in service projects, meaningful worship services, and small group studies that promote our personal and spiritual growth.
We encourage everyone to find something they love to do in order to contribute to the life of our church and community.
Worship Service
Each Sunday at 9:50 am, we gather for fellowship, scriptural reflection, song, prayer, and communion both online and in-person. Through word and song, we learn to apply Christ’s teachings to our everyday actions and relationships. Use the Contact page on this site if you have any questions.

Women's Discussion Group
Sunday’s at 9:00 am. Open to all women in our membership and our community, to share prayer requests and discuss how selected scriptures apply in our world today. By participating, we gain valuable insights into our own and others’ perspectives. For more information, submit questions on the Contact page here.

Bible Study
Wednesdays at 10:30 – noon. Open to everyone. We learn to better understand Biblical concepts in greater depth and from a variety of perspectives. For more information, use the Contact page of this site.

Prayer Blankets
Join us in making and distributing prayer blankets to people in need of spiritual comfort. Request additional information through the Contact page of this site.

Happy Feet
Women’s exercise group, open to the community, meets in the SGLCC Community Hall at 8:30 am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Contact Diana Sellers for more information at 918-782-8006.

God's Orchard
Adjacent to the church building, we plant and nurture fruit trees, the fruit of which is shared with the local community.

Meals on Wheels
Volunteers for this ecumenical group use the SGLCC’s kitchen to prepare and deliver meals to qualifying seniors in the surrounding area on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Volunteer cooks and drivers are always needed. To volunteer or become a recipient, contact Susan Miller, 417-434-6941.

Blue House
Grand Lake Community Ministries extends aid through the Blue House located at 268 West Broadway Avenue Langley, Oklahoma.
Clothing and a food pantry are available from 9:30 to 11:30 on Tuesday and Friday mornings.
Other assistance is given on an appointment basis, and includes utilities, heating and medical assistance.

Camp Christian
Tucked away in the peaceful hills of northeast Oklahoma near Choteau, this 90-acre camp is supported by the Oklahoma Disciples Foundation. This year’s Disciples’ Women’s Retreat is scheduled for September 30 and October 1. Use the Contact page on this site to ask for details.

Mat Makers

Community Thanksgiving
Thankgiving meal for the entire community, sponsored by area churches and served in the Community Hall.
